The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The assistance point developed for intervention activities a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to enable the servicing of all prospects and increase access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
